From Coach Khyree: I snowboard because it’s a way to challenge, learn about, and express myself. It’s also my favorite way to be immersed in nature. Having those elements in my life help me stay grounded through troubled waters. Guiding people to discover that enjoyment for themselves is one of the things I love most about instructing.

Meet Our Shredding Pros
Born in Miami and forged in the Canadian winters, Diego found his true calling in the world of snow. At 12, he strapped into a snowboard and never looked back. From humble beginnings with a skier brother to becoming a force on the slopes, he’s built a legacy of versatility, mastering both snowboarding and skiing. With over 14 years of experience as a sports instructor and 5+ years dedicated to snowsports, Diego has made it his mission to spread the love for the mountains. A certified personal trainer and snowsports expert, Diego holds multiple teaching certifications, including PSIA/AASI Level 1 Alpine Ski, Level 1 Children’s Specialist, Level 2 Snowboard, and Level 1 Freestyle Specialist. He’s also fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring that his stoke for the snow reaches riders from all walks of life. When he’s not ripping through powder or the park at his home mountain, Loveland Ski Area, Diego is dedicated to developing riders and skiers alike—helping them discover the true essence of snowboarding, skiing, and all that the mountains have to offer. For him, snowsports are a life-changing way to push both the body and mind to new heights. And while he’s got big dreams of one day running his own mountain designed to fuel the next generation of riders, for now, he’s more focused than ever on sharing the stoke and building a community of snow enthusiasts.

Meet Our Mentors
Justina has called Colorado home on and off for the past 20 years, where she has worked as a teacher, school leader, and mentor. She is passionate about coaching, supporting young people, and building strong communities. After spending the last four years living in Europe, she recently returned to Colorado and is excited to bring her experience and energy to Unified Shredders, helping kids discover confidence, joy, and growth through snowboarding.

Meet Dustin, Our Snow Pro
Dustin is from Wheatridge Colorado. In 2019 he moved to Grand County, and in 2020 he began working at Winter Park Ski Resort as a snowmaker. After 3 seasons snowmaking he moved to the Welding Department where he currently works. Dustin first learned to ski at the age of two here at Winter Park and then found his passion for snowboarding at age 9.
