About Unified Shredders

Empowering Youth & Shredding Barriers

Unified Shredders is dedicated to building a vibrant snowboarding community that embraces diversity and inclusivity. We're all about making snowboarding accessible to underserved youth, empowering them both on and off the slopes. Through opportunities and resources, we're shaping a more diverse and equitable snowboarding landscape where everyone can thrive. 

Carving Solutions

Unified Shredders is on a mission to unite the youth communities of Denver and Grand County, opening doors to diverse experiences for all. In Colorado, hitting the slopes shouldn't be reserved for a select few based on their wallet size. We're breaking down those barriers, crafting positive outdoor adventures for youth previously left out of this community. Through curated experiences that boost overall well-being and athletic prowess, we're carving a safe space where every youth's story is heard and celebrated.

Unified Shredders invites you to our first Golf Fundraiser & Silent Auction an afternoon of fun, community and impact. Every dollar raised helps us expand our youth snow sports and mentorship programs across Grand County. 


In the 2025-26 season, we're aiming to serve more students than ever before. That means increased funding for gear, transportation, and access to the mountains. Your support will help us grow our reach, secure a program vehicle, and deepen our impact.


Join us for a shotgun style golf tournament with breakfast at Applewood Golf Course in Golden. Start time is 7:30am, with lunch and a silent auction to follow.

Thank You Fraser River Valley Lions Club!

Unified Shredders is proud to announce that we have been awarded a generous grant from the Fraser River Valley Lions Club! This grant will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to provide mentorship and snowboarding lessons to underserved youth in Grand County.  Thanks to the Fraser River Valley Lions Club's commitment to our community, these funds will be used to cover essential program expenses such as equipment rentals, transportation to and from the mountain, necessary snowboarding gear, community events, and meals for our participants.


This partnership will allow us to ensure that financial barriers never prevent youth from experiencing the transformative power of outdoor recreation and snowboarding. Together, we are shredding barriers and fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for the next generation of riders. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Fraser River Valley Lions Club for their support and dedication to making a lasting impact on our participants and their community.

Expanding Access, Deepening Impact - Year 2 Goals

In Year Two, Unified Shredders is growing from 5 to 20 students, expanding out mentorship-based snowboarding and skiing program to serve even more students. Our mission remains the same, connecting underserved youth with the transformative power of outdoor recreation, positive peer connection and long-term mentorship.


To support this growth, we are fundraising to: 

  • Purchase a 12 passenger can to provide consistent and safe transportation.
  • Increased our number of trained mentors to ensure deeper relationships and support.
  • Expand program offering to include skiing alongside snowboarding for students in grade 7-12.
  • Improve family communication through automated tools and engagement strategies.
